The weirdest people of society were her favorites. Diane Arbus was a famous 70'ies photographer from New York. She ever started her artists career as a painter. She could not stand the smell of the paint though, so she quit.
Arbus loved "freaks". Nudist, trans-sexuals, giants and dwarfs. She shot lots of portraits of those who were seen as ugly. Someone compared Diane's work as giving a grenade to a child; she shot booming pictures! Diane was seen as one of the most important representatives of the society criticism/ social documentary-making photography.
